The Assam Police have registered an FIR against YouTubers Ranveer Allahbadia, Samay Raina, and Ashish Chanchlani for allegedly making obscene remarks during the show ‘India’s Got Latent’. The complaint, lodged by Mumbai-based lawyers Ashish Rai and Pankaj Mishra, accuses the trio of promoting obscenity and engaging in offensive content that could negatively impact viewers.
In response to the backlash, Allahbadia issued a public apology, stating, “My comment wasn’t just inappropriate; it wasn’t even funny. Comedy is not my forte. I’m just here to say sorry.” He emphasized his commitment to using his platform responsibly and has requested the removal of the insensitive sections from the video.
