Rohtas, Bihar | February 22, 2025 – In a shocking incident, a Class 10 student in Bihar’s Rohtas district shot two classmates for refusing to show him their answers during an exam. The attack left one student dead and another injured.
The accused, who has been detained, reportedly confronted the victims outside the exam center after they refused to share their answers during the Sanskrit board exam. The following day, as the students were returning home after their Social Science exam, the accused and his associates forcefully stopped their autorickshaw and opened fire.
Amit Kumar, one of the victims, succumbed to his injuries, while the other is undergoing treatment and is reportedly out of danger. Police recovered a country-made pistol from the accused, and investigations are underway to determine if others were involved.
The incident triggered protests, with the victim’s family and locals blocking the highway demanding justice. Authorities assured swift action, leading to the protest being called off.
