EaseMyTrip co-founder Rikant Pittie has been appointed CEO, succeeding his brother Nishant Pitti. The decision was approved by the board on January 1, 2025. Rikant, a BTech graduate from Kurukshetra University, brings 15 years of experience in travel, tourism, and technology. Recognized as a top entrepreneur under 40, Rikant has played a key role in driving EaseMyTrip’s innovation and growth since its inception in 2008.

Nishant Pitti Divests Stake in Easy Trip Planners
On December 31, 2024, Nishant Pitti sold a 1.4% stake for ₹78 crore, reducing the promoter group’s shareholding to 48.97%. The stock closed 6.92% lower following the transaction.
