JioCinema Premium subscribers will automatically shift to JioHotstar Premium for their current plan duration, while Disney+Hotstar subscribers will continue with their existing plans for three months before transitioning to JioHotstar.
The platform offers AI-driven recommendations, content in 19 Indian languages, and a unified library from both services. This $8.5 billion merger, approved by CCI and NCLT in August 2024, positions JioStar as India’s top media giant.
