In an inspiring achievement, final and third-year B.Pharmacy students and professors from Nootan Pharmacy College have made a remarkable contribution to the world of medical diagnostics by filing a patent with the Indian Patent Office. Their innovative project, titled “Initiative for Diagnosing Hair Health,” was officially published on 18th April, marking a proud milestone in the institution’s research journey.

🔬 Innovation with a Purpose

The patented device is designed to evaluate various hair health parameters, offering an efficient and accurate diagnostic method for conditions like hair fall, premature greying, stunted growth, and breakage — problems that are increasingly affecting individuals at a young age.

This initiative was led by Prof. Manohar Kengar, the Project Coordinator, who was driven by these rising concerns:

“This project was inspired by real concerns we see around us daily. With increasing cases of hair-related health issues, we aimed to design a device that’s both practical and impactful in medical diagnostics,” said Prof. Kengar.
