Hyderabad, May 15, 2025 – The 72nd Miss World pageant in Hyderabad has beautifully blended global charm with Telangana’s rich culture, as 109 contestants explored iconic sites like the Thousand Pillar Temple, Warangal Fort, and Ramappa Temple.
They received vibrant traditional welcomes with Bathukamma, tribal dances, and temple rituals, and wore elegant Indian sarees. Miss Argentina praised the attire as “elegant and vibrant,” while others were touched by the warmth of Warangal.
Under the theme Beauty with a Purpose, contestants shared powerful missions:
Miss Gibraltar champions mental health,
Miss Venezuela promotes education through her books,
Miss Cameroon raises breast cancer awareness via the Pink Marathon,
Miss South Africa supports rights for orphaned children.
Personal inspirations also stood out:
Miss Chile, a pilot, was inspired by IAF officer Gunjan Saxena; Miss Australia, a singer and cricket lover, admired Hyderabad’s cultural energy.
Their journey continues to Yadagirigutta and Pochampally, spotlighting sacred sites and Telangana’s vibrant handlooms.
