Indian Student Ranjani Srinivasan Self-Deports After Visa Revocation Over Pro-Palestine Protests

Ranjani Srinivasan, a doctoral student in urban planning at Columbia University, self-deported from the US after their visa was revoked on March 5, 2025, for allegedly supporting Hamas during pro-Palestine protests. The US Department of Homeland Security cited video evidence linking Srinivasan to advocacy of violence and terrorism, prompting their self-deportation via the CBP Home app on March 11.
